Counterfeit Kit for April!!!

Sorry I am a bit late posting this.. My husband and I were out of town the past few days. Here is my kit. Since a majority of the Inspiration Kit's papers were from the Echo Park For the Record Collection I decided to go ahead and use those papers/sticker sheets for my Counterfeit Kit.

Since I do not have any felt butterflies I decided to pull out my Martha Stewart Punches. I can not cut felt with these, but that's ok. I also incorporated butterflies into my kit through the fabric I included. I believe I purchased this from Wal-Mart.

These are my buttons. Most of these buttons I actually made myself with polymer clay. Very simple and easy to make! :) I feel a tutorial coming on this month! :)

My silk flowers. Here are just a few I pulled for my Kit. However, my prima stash is never ending so I may pull more out soon! :) There are also some other elements like stickles, and beads. I love using these beads! I have so many little tubes that I bought from Michael's a few years ago and never even took out of the package. I have been using them lately and they are so addicting!

Faux chipboard birds! :) So easy and simple to make as well. I'm sure many of you already know how to make these, but i'll post a quick tutorail this month! :)

"A Little Birdie Told Me" title. I made this from my cricut -- easy.

"For the record" title made this from my cricut and gypsy also.

Let It Snow

Good Morning everybody. Here is my layout for today! This is a layout from our trip to WI last December.

This is Echo Park's Wintertime Line. I had alot of fun with this. For my title --- I used Cricut's Celebrate with Flourish Lite cartridge. I LOVE THIS CARTRIDGE. It is probably one of my favorites.

I wanted to pay special attention to this part of the layout. I wanted to repeat the glitter and glittered circles that you see on the red ribbon. With the circle border sticker (also from EP Wintertime sticker element sheets) all I simply did was choose random circles, paint over with my zig 2way small chizel pen and sprinkle coordinating glitter on top. I also did that with some of the flourishes on the red paper. The smaller zig pen is super easy to glue on smaller lines like flourishes and then sprinkle glitter ontop.
This was a super fun layout to do! I really enjoyed using this line. All the papers were so pretty.
Enjoy.

Counterfeit Kit Blog Hop

Good Morning Everybody! And welcome to stop 24 of 26 of the The counterfeit Kit Blog Hop.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)

You're almost to the end of this blog hop! Wasn't it fun checking out everybody's projects? So much beautiful inspiration!

This month's Blog Hop Challenge is...

Scraplift Yourself!!!

I chose this layout of my husband with 3 horozontal 4x6 photos [remember I only scrap 4x6 photo :)] for my inspiration. And, this is what I came up with.

Obviously you can see I did make a few changes. The most obciously ones would be the patterned papers behind the photos. In retrospect I would have Simply cut the couple inches off the paper and tucked it barely under the photos rather than using 7 an 8 inch sheets. After all, that is such a waste of paper. And, I'm all about saving :)! Well you're off to your next stop, Geri. And after Geri, last but not least is our amazing Bethany. I hope you have enjoyed all of our wonderful scraplifts, and hope you join us for both blog hops next month, one for the DT, and one for all of our fabulous followers! :)

Click here for your fabulous Geri! Enjoy.

Bling, Flowers, and Distress Ink

Here is my weekly card for The Shoe. And our challenge this week was to use Bling, Flowers, and Distress Ink.

Here's my card.

Flowers: Patterned Papers Distress Ink: Inked Edges Bling: Butterfly Bellies

Unfortunately, you can't really see my "bling" in these pictures. But, I used my stickles for the butterfly bodies. Hope you all have a wonderful Friday! Enjoy.
