Let It Snow

Good Morning everybody. Here is my layout for today! This is a layout from our trip to WI last December.

This is Echo Park's Wintertime Line. I had alot of fun with this. For my title --- I used Cricut's Celebrate with Flourish Lite cartridge. I LOVE THIS CARTRIDGE. It is probably one of my favorites.

I wanted to pay special attention to this part of the layout. I wanted to repeat the glitter and glittered circles that you see on the red ribbon. With the circle border sticker (also from EP Wintertime sticker element sheets) all I simply did was choose random circles, paint over with my zig 2way small chizel pen and sprinkle coordinating glitter on top. I also did that with some of the flourishes on the red paper. The smaller zig pen is super easy to glue on smaller lines like flourishes and then sprinkle glitter ontop.
This was a super fun layout to do! I really enjoyed using this line. All the papers were so pretty.
Enjoy.

Counterfeit Kit Blog Hop

Good Morning Everybody! And welcome to stop 24 of 26 of the The counterfeit Kit Blog Hop.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)

You're almost to the end of this blog hop! Wasn't it fun checking out everybody's projects? So much beautiful inspiration!

This month's Blog Hop Challenge is...

Scraplift Yourself!!!

I chose this layout of my husband with 3 horozontal 4x6 photos [remember I only scrap 4x6 photo :)] for my inspiration. And, this is what I came up with.

Obviously you can see I did make a few changes. The most obciously ones would be the patterned papers behind the photos. In retrospect I would have Simply cut the couple inches off the paper and tucked it barely under the photos rather than using 7 an 8 inch sheets. After all, that is such a waste of paper. And, I'm all about saving :)! Well you're off to your next stop, Geri. And after Geri, last but not least is our amazing Bethany. I hope you have enjoyed all of our wonderful scraplifts, and hope you join us for both blog hops next month, one for the DT, and one for all of our fabulous followers! :)

Click here for your fabulous Geri! Enjoy.

Cutting Down the Tree

Well, I'm back kind of late today ladies!
Let me start out by saying my laptop died yesterday! :( So unfortuneately, I don't get to use my photo editor that the laptop came with. I'll be looking for one that I can use instead of this dreaded paint!! Here is my next 2-pg layout of the week! :)
This is the Echo Park Christmas Time line. Because as you all know... I LOVE ECHO PARK!
This layout was very simple and easy to assemble. I used 5 4x6 photos. Matted those photos on coordinating cardstock. The patterned paper is one whole 12x12 sheet that I cut sort of off-centered. Some ribbon that I thought held the Christmas-y theme was tied around 2 of the photos and adhered behind my date label. The journal card is off of the journal card paper that comes with the collection pack. I then attached alternating red/green brads to every other circle on the top and bottom of the journal card. 2 circles were cut from coordinating patterned papers with my beloved Nesties. And, last but not least, the tree embellishments are from a pack of Jolee's dimensional stickers that I dug out of me Christmas stash!
I hope this inspires some of you guys, and feel free to scraplift this easy-peasy sketch!!!

Enjoy.

Pretty in Pink! :)

My first 2 page layout of the year. Unfortunately I do not have as much time as I would like to scrapbook. My daughter only takes one 2 hour nap a day. But, I also go to school full time! At the beginning of the year I set a goal to complete 4 layouts a week. Which I was doing really good at achieving. Then school started, laundry piled up, and dishes needed to be put away. LOL. I've decided, If I do anything scrap related during the week I'm a happy camper :)

This is my daughter at 6 weeks old. These pictures are about a year old. But, its hard for me to get my mojo going when it comes to 5x7 and 8x10 professional pictures. Anyways, that's what I came up with.
